Before you write
- "It says no maxres thumbnail available" — that's expected behaviour for older videos, very short videos, and some live-stream archives. There's an explanation in the FAQ.
- "It downloaded a tiny 120×90 image instead of the full size" — same answer; YouTube falls back to the default size when maxres doesn't exist.
- "I need a takedown / copyright concern" — include the video URL and your relationship to the copyright; we respond to legitimate requests within 24 hours.
- "Can you add language X?" — yes, if a native speaker is willing to review the translation. Tell us which language and we'll send the strings file.
Response times
One person handles email. Most replies go out within 1–2 working days (Monday–Friday, European hours). If you don't hear back after a week, your message probably got caught in spam — try again with a different subject line.
